i uznanie w tej dziedzinie, a jego prace zaistniały w prestiżowych kolekcjach muzealnych takich jak Victoria & Albert Museum w Londynie, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Museum of Arts and Design w Nowym Jorku, Le Musée Royal de Mariemont w Belgii.
Marek Cecuła jest też kuratorem licznych wystaw analizujących relacje pomiędzy designem
a sztuką, m.in.: „Object Factory” w Museum of Arts and Design w Nowym Jorku, Gardiner Museum w Toronto i Łódź Design Festiwal, gdzie pokazywał najnowsze międzynarodowe tendencje występujące w ceramice użytkowej i artystycznej.
Założyciel firmy Modus Design działającej w Nowym Jorku od 1980 roku, a od 2000 roku
w Polsce. Marek Cecuła równolegle z projektowaniem prowadzi własną działalność artystyczną pokazywaną w licznych galeriach w kraju i za granicą.

The founder of Modus Design, a company operating in New York since 1980 and in Poland since 2000.
Marek Cecula parallel to designing, is also active as a ceramic artist, shown in numerous art galleries in Poland and abroad.
